DEPRESSION

I’m not mad today

Want to get a quick post out to everyone.  My post yesterday, “OK, I’m mad!” received so many hits I’ve spent all morning trying to respond to each of them.  I never dreamed that post would go anywhere.  I have a hunch because it was Monday, lots of people were just mad about lots of different things. It helped us all blow off some steam. Glad I could help.

Anyway, I’m trying to get to each of you.  So please don’t think I’m rude.

Just occurred to me, maybe one of the ways we deal with depression is to admit we are mad about some things.  Maybe we just need to write an “I’m mad about” list every once in a while. Maybe that’s therapeutic all by itself. Worked for me!

  1. I was just was fed up with what seemed like the world telling me what to think before I had found the time to verify my position on things. World give me some space! I don’t get on anyones band wagon until I am sure about an issue not only for me today but also the future. Great post yesterday

    • As it turns out, a lot of people were. Like you, I want some time to think things through. I, too, don’t get on anyone’s bandwagon. I may be an evangelical Christian but that doesn’t mean I left my brains at the doorstop. I don’t buy into everything my own church teaches either and it seems to me Jesus encouraged deep thinking. Thanks so much for the comment.
