Stand up to fight depression

Just a quick post tonight from American Journal of Preventive Medicine:

Women who sit seven or more hours a day are more likely to have depression symptoms than those who sit four hours or less. Lack of interaction with the environment that comes with sitting for long stretches may contribute to depressions. Excessive sitting can limit the activity of endorphins in the brain and reduce blood flow to parts of the brain that contribute to depression.

Visit this site to find our how the body is affected from long periods of sitting.

Also, did you know that lack of water has also been linked to a drop in moods? I can’t remember the source but I read it on Beyondblue. com if you want to find the actual source.

Anyway, that’s it. Just didn’t want to forget this. Have a good evening and God bless.
