It’s so easy to point the finger at other people and their faults.
I’m not going to say what you think I’m going to say.
I’m not going to say that we have to ignore the harm others have done to us. After all, we do suffer the consequences of other people’s bad choices. Sometimes other people are responsible. However, I would suggest that allowing their actions to cause us to be bitter, discouraged, hopeless and less than what we could be is bad.
But don’t use the word “blame”. It’s an excuse word. Not for them, for us.
We need never allow other people’s choices impact us in a damaging way.
When we do allow those destructive choices to get in our way, we become weak and ineffective.
And it is when we are weak and effective, that the Enemy (depression, anxiety, doubt, insecurity, fear, etc.) steps in. (I do believe in an Evil entity called Satan but I also believe that more times than not, we give him far more credit than he deserves. It is not true that “the devil made me do it”.)
Instead, we should:
God bless and I hope you have a good day.
