Day: July 29, 2015

It’s ok to say no and not feel bad about it

Reading today from Matthew  25:7-13. I realize the main message is about Christ’s return and being ready.

But today I saw something else.

I understood the verses also to mean that there comes a point when, as much as we’ve tried to help someone, we just say “No”. When people continue to be foolish, we have no choice but to let them suffer the consequences of those poor choices.

It hurts to watch.

That applies to me me as well. There’s come a point for me to say to myself, “Enough with the excuses.”

Go and do the thing instead of expecting God to do it all for you.

Just wanted to share that little tidbit with you today.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
