(Thought you might like a chuckle. I wrote this post a couple of years ago. When I read it, I was so proud of myself. If you’re facing a big challenge, maybe this will help.)
Gosh, I hate to admit when I’m dense or slow to learn. But would you believe after months of posting, I only figured out today how to set up my menu. In the process, I messed up the categories on ALL my posts so I’ve spent the afternoon editing each and every one of them so that when a reader clicks on a menu, the appropriate post shows up.
However, I don’t know how to make a list for the “Books” menu. Another learning curve again. Please bear with me as I continue to figure all this out. And if anyone out there can help me out, please feel free to do so. In the meantime, I’ll go back to my huge “Dummies” book and try to figure it out. What’s particularly hard is that I don’t even understand the language.
(TODAY, Feb 5, 2016) I hope you’re encouraged. When we said our minds on our goals and work hard at it, we can do a lot more than we think we can. Yesterday I wrote a post about dreams. (not the sleeping kind. ) A lot of people have dreams but a lot of people don’t work to make their dreams come true.
I haven’t always either. But when it comes to blogging, I did. If I told you how long it took me to figure out how to post pictures, you would be in stitches.
I almost gave up a couple of times but this post encouraged me.
If you’ve been following me very long, you know Proverbs is one of the books of the Bible that I read every day. One of my favorites chapters is chapter five, verse seven.
“The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom;
I mean it’s really kind of funny-the way it’s worded. What it means is the beginning of wisdom is to determine to get it in the first place. That’s the case with everything in life. The first step is always to decide. After that it’s just a matter of hard work.
I hope you feel encouraged if you are feeling discouraged.
God bless and I hope you have a good day.
