pray big

Don’t be afraid to pray big.

Just a quick update.

My mom is almost her old self.

I’ve been praying so hard for her to regain some of her strength, to see her enjoying her life even a little. It makes the nightmare of the last ten days almost a distant memory.

I’m getting so hopeful that she won’t fall again.

I just wanted to share my joy with you and to encourage you.

Don’t be afraid to pray BIG.
pray big

Sometimes I pray, “Lord, I know other people have been through this exact same experience and I’m no exception to suffering life’s hard times, but you tell me in your word to pray anyway, to pray always, to pray in all ways.  So here I am.”

I always remember the words of Jesus found in many portions of scripture, “What do you want me to do?”

I pray as simply as I can. (Any prayer recorded in Scripture can be spoken in less than a few minutes.)

I pray keeping in mind what I already know is God’s will in general.

Even if I lost her tomorrow, I would be grateful for this day; I would be grateful for this short reprieve.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
