Innovative fall decorating vignettes anyone can copy.

Here’s one area of my home I’ve started decorating for fall. Originally it was all in the center of my table. See here. And I think it was pretty but my wood shim runner got lost in the process. Plus, it was falling apart and I need to reconstruct it.

But I decided to change things up this year and spread the love around. So I tried this. But everything seemed to just blend together too much. So what was the point of that?

That’s when I decided to break it all up.

Here’s the first area. Look at those flat pumpkins. Aren’t they adorable. Got them at Target last week for $3.00. My daughter went to her Target and they had none left.

Of course, these are the fabric pumpkins everyone is making. Just check out Pinterest. I’m not giving a how-to because the instructions are everywhere. However, I’ve since found out a clever way to make the indentations on the pumpkins and it’s much different, and I think easier than other instructions. I hope to publish those instructions in the next couple of days.

I made add a garland to string across the basket. And, oh, that big flat basket. You thought it was from the Magnolia Collection. Right? I’ve seen them at Target recently. I have an even larger one at our cabin. But, no, I think I paid about $5.00 for the two of them. I know a bargain when I see one. Although, it did take me a while to figure out how to use them.

God bless and have a good day.
