Why I am worried about election day.

Today’s a big day. I don’t have to tell you that massive numbers of people are voting. It might even exceed a Presidential election.

And I have to be honest, I’m worried about how this day will go.

On the one hand, it’s a good thing there is going to be a huge turnout. On the other hand, it means that as a nation, we are still very divided. People aren’t voting because they have a strong leaning towards any one candidate; they are voting because they are mad.

Some are mad about immigration.

Some are mad about healthcare.

Some are mad about women’s rights.

Some are mad just because they are mad. About everything!

I don’t know about you but I’m getting tired of all the “mad” people out there, from politicians to journalists, to TV and movie personalities, etc.

I hope you all will remember to pray for an uneventful day today. Pray it will be a day of peace.  Pray that anger will be diffused.

Let’s keep our own anger in check and remember that differing political views are nothing to be angry about. It’s a good thing.

God bless and have a good day.
