Chocolate crinkle cookies on a snowy, bitterly cold day.

What do you do when it’s snowy and you can’t go anywhere?

You bake.

They are delicious

This isn’t my recipe. The original recipe can be found here.

The plaid runner you see here is a plaid scarf. I decided to use it as a runner. Cute, if I say so myself.

This pedestal was made by gluing a metal candleholder to a wonderful deep-sided bowl. This is one of my favorite piece.

This is how I used it at Easter a few years ago.

These cookies turned out great. Crispy around the edges and soft in the middle. The ones you see without the crinkles? I forgot to roll them in confectioners sugar ahead of time. They were just as good.

I added a dash of white pepper and cinnamon to my recipe.

Give them a try.

God bless and have a great day.
