I came across this recently:
I wondered if it was a joke so I checked his site. He isn’t kidding. He does have some good motivational sayings but this one? I don’t think so. I’m wondering if he’s kidding. What do you think?
I mean who could do this and still lead a normal life? No one, unless they’re a monk. (No reflection on monks. I’ve always wanted to go to a retreat at a monastery.)
A question. How far does take this organizing anyway? I’m a real believer in organization to a degree. But I know people who are always “organizing”, buying all the cute bins, shelves, etc., reading all the organizing books out there. (Hey, I bought a book myself a few years ago. It’s still sitting on the shelf.)
Besides, who wants to organize every moment anyway? Isn’t spontaneity good? I would hate to live like that.
I must admit though I do kinda’-sorta’ plan my day by segments of time. I mean if you’re going to accomplish anything, you have to plan to a degree.
I have a cool system for keeping track of the canned goods in my pantry that I will be sharing with you next week. But it doesn’t consume me. I also systematize my closest by short-to-long sleeved tops, and then within that grouping, I arrange by color.
Gosh, maybe I’m more organized than I think I am. But it’s an obsession with some people.
Anyway, go organize a closet.
God bless and have a good day.
