A spray-painting debacle that turned out great. Come see!

My husband says you can tell when it’s spring by the smell in the garage.

The wonderful, glorious spray paint smell.

Yep, I’m on a roll.

Naturally, because I never remember, I don’t have a “before” for you. Probably somewhere in the bowels of my thousands of pictures file but I’m not going there.

I can just tell you this piece was a kind of dull brown. It wasn’t bad. I just wanted a change.

Actually, I just wanted to spray paint and it was the first thing I spotted.

So-o-o-o-o-

It was cold so the paint started oozing down the sides. I could wipe if off or I could get creative. I decided to make those paints runs work for me. Of course, I don’t have a picture of that either. I was working fast. But if you can imagine this without the gold…..

Don’t ask me how I managed to paint the gold right where I needed it but let’s just say I’m pretty good with a spray can.

I think it looks like I bought it this way.

A final thought.

God can work with our mistakes as well. There isn’t any mistake we make that can’t be forgiven. There may be consequences. That’s just a part of life. There are consequences for everything we do.

But we can move on. God is in the business of do-overs.

Have a great day and God bless.
